The trip has been picture perfect so far. Flying solo is a good confidence builder. It forces decision making. But, it can't replace the fun of sharing flights with folks you like being around.

Day two was very good. Hazy all over Miss. but still lots of fun. Managed to cross threshold taxing out in Meridian, but nobody died. Couldn't reach Natchez Unicom because airport guy said he was "upstairs" , so landed runway 13 - should have landed 18. But, I still managed to make to the free beer happy hour at Hampton Inn. If my pals and palettes were with me, we could watch the sun set from under the hill. But, as it is, I'll just watch it from my hotel window. Thanks all for the posts.
