There’s something about small town neon signs, like this one that I shot just before sundown in Aransas Pass.

We  stopped by the Pearl Brewery, where the urban in-crowd hangs out. Very disappointed in two restaurants. Lack of service at one and snootiness at another. So, we left and walked a couple of blocks to Josephine’s –  great food, service, and atmosphere,

Kathy was transported back to 1976 when this Pearl Brewery Street Band struck up “Play That Funky Music” .

We parked at SkyPlace FBO at San Antonio International. The folks there were very  accommodating.

And, look who showed up in San Antonio. Chandler and Kelly had been camping on the Pedernales River west of Austin and met up with us at Josephine’s Restaurant on their way back to Houston. I’m looking forward to when Chandler buys another gyro and re-joins our gyrotrips family.

A final stop  before departng San Antonio International Airport and our final leg home to Taylor. That’s a lot of activity in just a day and a half.  But, it was great! Thanks for following – looking forward to the next trip.
