It’s a step back in time aboard Amtrak’s Texas Eagle from Taylor, Texas to San Antonio. We brought dinner from home and dined in the observation car during the two hour train ride. Chandler and Dayton flew the gyros to San Antonio the next morning to pick us up at Stinson Airport for the return flight home. Whether the view is from the window on a train or a thousand feet above the ground in a gyro, there is a lot to see and do in Texas.
