We have our own hangar now so if anyone wants to fly to Temple Friday night and stay with us we’d love the company. Since the kids are out of the house we have three guest rooms.

Latest update from the event organizer indicated the Taco Truck will be on site and open for breakfast at 9 AM and will also be there for lunch. Most participants depart between 1 & 3 PM so it looks like we'll be outta there by mid-afternoon. Anyone who wants to spend the night in Temple on Friday is welcome to join us. If you need fuel in Temple on the way up or back just let me know. I'll have 50 gallons of fresh fuel (mogas) on hand. I'll be at my hangar by 7 AM on Saturday, with coffee!

I’m going if I can get my gyro out of annual/condition inspection. It’s a long trip to pick it up near Houston from my place north of San Antonio. I’ll likely fly direct to Dublin from here (5C1) if everything works out. Ray

My gyro has fuel tank issues at the “condition inspection” .....again (just replaced both tanks a couple of months ago, I had used auto fuel with ethanol and it destroyed my prior fiberglass tanks, new tanks have a leak at one of the attachment points) so it looks like it’s grounded until the manufacturer can send a fix or replacement. I may still join in my FW. Ray
