MOST of the plans and reservations are in place for this trip to Blue Ridge, GA. Hotels, restaurants, car rentals, hangar rentals, are all set. Right now, it looks like 9-10 people will be going. Chandler and I will be departing T74 at 8:30 Friday morning, June 3rd, in my gyro N747KW. I’m still not sure if Dayton will be flying a gyro or flying commercial. Hope he can make it, but, either way, it should be a fun trip.
05-28-16 TRIP UPDATE
The main rotor-head bolt was damaged when changing out the rotor brake on gyro N747KW. We’re having to order a new one from Italy. Regretfully, we’ll be making this trip to Blue Ridge by traditional planes, trains and automobiles. And on we go!
