Trip Overview

Babe’s Chicken Dinner House- Roanoke, TX (Feb. 2017)

February 4, 2017 — February 10, 2017

The weather was cold and visibility was poor, but the trip was a lot of fun. Mike and Cyndi flew the club gyro. Dayton flew solo in 317KD and Kathy and I flew 747KW. Babe’s Chicken Dinner House in Roanoke was good (maybe not 300+ miles good), but the trip was worth it for the company. It was good to see Rob and Kristi who drove over from Denton to join us for lunch.  Thanks for following. ENJOY THE JOURNEY!

We were greeted with true Texas Hospitality at Alliance Aviation Services at Alliance Airport north of Ft. Worth. The controlled airspace in the Ft. worth area kept us alert during the 145 mile trip from Taylor.
